My son is 13 and has autism. He is very drawn to music and has learned many social skills through the music of Cathy Bollinger. She is a music therapist who has written 9 cd's--2 of them specifically for kids on the spectrum: My Turn Your Turn (looking towards people's eyes, asking to play, saying hi and goodbye, ...and Ready to Learn (songs to help kids with the social situations in schools---listening, waiting for your turn, transitions, accepting consequences, lining up...)
Her website is http://www.rivannamusic.com You can listen to clips and definitely look at the Gallery of Pictures for some very cute kids.

We should cross-list this
We should cross-list this under the "products" category.
We do music therapy and find it quite valuable. It's just so darned expensive. Make sure if you buy any of these CD's that you can make a commitment to really try to use them before they get ruined. It's so hard to keep CD's and DVD's out of my son's hands, free of destruction and scratches.
