Joanna I can relate. My
Joanna I can relate. My son is 8. He has severe
autism, he's non verbal, I mean nothing more
than an occasional mom or dad......... severe
retardation, severe seizure disorder. Every time
I go to have my glasses adjusted I tell Richard the
guy behind the counter that I'll see him again in
about three weeks because inveribly one way or
another my son will knock my glasses out of
adjustment. He bites, he scratches. What do you
want out of people honey? money? Im sure we
all care but I dont know about everybody else but
in my case at least we live on a budget. We rarely
go out. This is hard on a marriage but we've
managed to stay strong somehow some way.
My advice is pray, learn to laugh over the silly
things (like 8 year old poop ugh), have good
friends and come to this site. Im new and I
really like it. Take it easy. These kids can be alot
of fun.... so what if Im a little scarred up ugh.
